| One of the most rewarding moments in my life is when I deliver one of the large canvas images Ive created. I watch the pride... the emotion...the pleasure... confides REG when asked why he loves his craft so much.
When he goes to work, REG combines his photography and fine art skills with his intuitive nature to produce outstanding results. And people love it! Even those who hate having their picture taken relax and enjoy the experience under his sensitive direction. The results are heirlooms as individual as the families represented no two are ever the same.
Companies, corporations and business organizations have also realized the value of REGs creations. He can create visual images that project not only the nature of the business, but what it stands for and where its are going.

History
(excerpted from a story published on Wednesday, May 7, 1997 in the Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows News - written by Karin Mark.)
Driven by an interest in photography at an early age, the road from Saskatoon (where he grew up) to Pitt Meadows ( where he now makes his home) was filled with study, opportunity and adventure. In the mid-80s, Reg hooked up with a photographer who advised him to attend the school of life rather than a technological institute.
That photographer, Gene Hattori, took Reg under his wing, and eventually, on a photographic expedition to Thailand. Thats where Reg met Ken Whitmire, a Washington photographer whose style influences Reg to this day.
"He taught me how to see, he taught me how to look at things. He taught me to tell stories," said Reg.
After the Thailand trip ended, Reg followed Whitmire to his Yakima home and worked with him for a month. Then he went home to Saskatoon, sold everything and set out on the road.
He lived like a nomad for the next year or so, traveling around the United States and the world, studying and working with professional photographers while building up a reputation of his own.
Reg returned to Canada in 1991 and finally realized his dream of running his own photography business in late 1995, when he moved to Pitt Meadows. Now, he's working to market the skills he's honed over the years under the name of Master's Touch.
